I have abdicated the guild leader position to the trio of Kremit, Nicci, and Crip. These three will now bring the guild into new perspective ont he server making it a driving raiding force.

[81k]: Guild Leader Albus Lupus to Retire

This is to announce my retirement as Guild Leader. It is not something I want to do, but for the good of the guild it something I should do. I have noticed as I have moved into the pacific time zone that my play time is much later then most that and I use to get on around 8PM but it keeps getting later and later as my 4 year old is getting to bed later and later, and we need someone to be on all days at or around the same time the majority of our guild is on.

PvE Carmineluper
I have never been on the PvE server and as you all know “Luper” has been leading the pack, hence forth his official title on the PvE server (if it is not already) will be Guild Leader.

PvP Maj
During my sick time and continuing on during my attempts to get back into the swing of things Maj has covered for me. He will now be (officially) the guild leader on the PvP side.

[81k]: [81k] Recruitment is once again active

Interested players that wish to join our guild must be on the Varking Server ("team" ruleset) on the Order of Alurad side. Any race available any Class. You must fill out the "[81k] Join Guild" applicaion (above) as well as face some other challenges both in game and out.

[81k]: [81k] 81 Knights one year anniversary

I am proud to announce our one-year anniversary has come and gone. On 11-26-2005 after some thinking and gathering of a few personal and online friends this very forum was created and the [81k] 81 Knights became established as a Vanguard affiliate site.

Obviously the time has flew by, I did not even think we were close to a year until today when I just added our 50th full time member. As I said many times in the past and will continue to say well into the future never have I been in a guild where the members are so active, and excited and very much like a guild before the game is even out.

I just want to thank our gaming group (www.81k.org) for giving us our start, my Officers and my HC who has taken my idea of what a guild should be and improved on this and made it so. I would also like to thank each and every [81k] member who without you we would be nothing.

The [81K] 81 Knights have changed from open recruitment to a modified open recruitment. This will require you to fill out the initial join 81 K application and from their follow down a path to become a full time member. Interested persons can submit an application for members ship by clickin on the [81K] Join Guild link at the top of the page.

I feel extremely honored that someone would take time out of their busy day to hack out site! If we were just another webpage, just another guild, no one would bother to do this, so in my mind, this is great! My only complaint was it was not the best hack or defacement in the world, it was relatively easy to fix, and the content was, well boring. If your going to do something you might as well do it right. Now then on to business (read more).

I am pleased to announce the winner of 81k Back Story – a contest for 81k Members (Win $50.00!) that was offered in our [81k] members only area. The event was open to any [81k] member who could produce (the best) back-story (lore) related to the creation of our guild. The prize was $50.00 USC that I am sure will go towards the purchase of Vanguard when available.
Congratulations goes out to Carmineluper For his back-story you can read in our Guild History area (open to the public). Not only has he come up with a great story, but he has volunteered to be our guild scribe. Check back in this area to read up on the adventures of the 81 Knights.
