I do not know if anyone still comes to this site, or if 81K still lives in Vanguard.
If your not playing with 81K, and are looking for something to play other then Vanguard, have a look at AoC.
You can find me here (in a guild of about 400+) if you wish to give it a go stop on by and look me up as Wolf216

Online Games: PC Gamer Kicked out Gold Farmers
Posted by wolf216 - on Wednesday, January 18 @ 08:37:26 MST
Other Games
I let my subscription to PC Game run out in December of 2005. Its reviews and articles always seemed to be a bit political. Not in the traditional government fashion but more towards if a company had a paid advertisement you can bet they received a good review, or at least a better review then warranted. This is, of course, my own views on the inner workings of magazines.
In that December edition of PC Gamer I happen to see an ad for a gold farming company based out of Arizona. Gold framing if you do not know is the selling of ingame gold for real money. It is a heavily debated topic and normally not acceptable behavior in any online game. I was surprised to see an ad for it.
Recently Greg Vederman (normally the hardware guy) discusses the removal of Ad's like this from PC Gamer, as of Feburary 2006. You can read that artical at Next Generation's webpage "Greg Vederman's Letter From the Editor.
